How-To Get Listed for the Item You Want If you are interested in purchasing loot from Black Temple you must send an IN-GAME MAIL to Rotmouth. Priority is based off of who sends mail first and not your whispers. So this is a "first come first serve" program. Which Loot is Available Our members always have first priority on any item and the list will update daily. You can see which pieces of loot we are selling by following this link (copy and paste it): http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=prYf0gAifu-COoVsxZBGiTQ Prices T6 Tokens will be 2500 Gold Non-token pieces will depend on demand and rarity of the item. For example, if we take you to Illidan for the "Black Bow of the Betrayer" you might be charged over 4k due to the possible length of time it may take for it to drop. Realistically, we may not even sell these items if there is too much demand for them. Some of these items may be as low as 1000 gold also. Schedule Thrust raids Sunday - Thursday 6PM to 11PM Server Time. Our BT runs are sporadic at the moment, but if we receive overwhelming response for items, we will schedule a day each week for BT (likely Thursdays). FAQ:
1) How do I pay?
If you are in the raid when your loot drops you can give your gold to Rotmouth or Civatateo/Brok (if Rotmouth is not around) and the item will be promptly looted to you. You don't pay anything if the loot you requested doesn't drop.
2) What do I do when I'm in the raid?
For a majority of fights you can freely participate, especially if you're familiar with the encounter. Occasionally we'll ask you to remove all of your gear and die on some of the more technical encounters, but for the most part we'll allow you to participate to the extent that it makes our raid function more smoothly.
3) Can I get items from Hyjal?
Currently Thrust isn't selling loot from Hyjal, but we expect to do so in the near future. We'll make an announcement at that time, so make sure to check back every week or so for updates.
4) There's some loot I wanted but I noticed it's not on your list. When can I expect it to become available?
We're always making new loot available. For the most part we're at the mercy of the RNG (random number generator) but we'll always add new loot to our list as it becomes available. Sometimes it may take a month, but other times it may only take a week. Make sure to bookmark our thread or loot list and check back every now and again and it may be available.
5) .
Occasionally there's a few pieces of loot that some of our guild members want but haven't been able to get quit yet. We always give them priority on loot that they need, but we're always looking to expand that loot that we have available for sale. If there's a specific piece of loot you want feel free to mention it in your game mail and I'll make sure to add you to the wait list for that item, but there's no guarantee that it will be available anytime soon.
6) I'm not interested in loot, but I really would like to run BT just to experience it. Is there a program to sign up for a full BT run without purchasing any loot?
At the moment we haven't set a policy for a full BT clear, but we're attempting to establish something for people who are simply interested in viewing the content for the sake of viewing the content. We should hopefully have a program established in the near future that covers your interests, but until then there's nothing solid. Make sure to keep checking back with us in case we have such an opening available.
7) How long can I expect to wait until I get my loot?
Depending on the piece of loot and the boss it varies between this week and sometime next month. Some items (especially the T6 tokens) have a lot of demand. On the other hand loot from the earlier bosses isn't as backed up, but there's no guarantee when it will drop. We'll make sure to contact you as soon as your loot becomes available, but patience is a virtue after all.
8) I'm not really interested in any of the gear that drops in Black Temple, but I wouldn't mind buying a pattern that drops there or a few Hearts of Darkness. Are those items available for sale?
We generally have a few Hearts of Darkness available so don't be afraid to whisper Rotmouth and ask for a few. If we don't have any available at the moment we can certainly add you to a wait list and get them to you as they become available. Pattern availability is entirely at the mercy of the random number generator so on any given run we may have some available. If you send Rotmouth or Brok a game mail expressing your interest in purchasing a pattern we'll do our best to get it to you as soon as possible.
9) When will I know if I can expect a spot in the next Black Temple run?
Generally we'll try to contact you at least two or three days in advance so that you have plenty of time to plan around any other activities or obligations you may have. Occasionally we get busy and the notification may come late, but we'll try to get the word out as soon as possible.
10) I have unaddressed questions. What is the best way to get them answered?
The absolute best way to have your questions concerning our program and policies answered is to send an in-game mail to Rotmouth. You can always attempt to whisper Rotmouth, but there's no guarantee that he'll be available to answer your questions on the spot. We will always answer your game mail, however. Occasionally it may take a day or two to answer, but we'll always be sure to pay prompt attention to any game mails that we receive.
11) I signed up for some items but won't be available this week. How will this affect me?
In general we're fairly flexible and if you aren't able to attend a raid we'll attempt to reschedule you. If we've notified you in advance and expect you to attend, we're very unappreciative of people who don't show up. We try our best to ensure that people are given the opportunity to get the loot in the order that their requests are received, but if you can't bother to show up, we may not bother to schedule you for a while.
12) Sending a game mail is hard. Can I just whisper someone and have them take my order?
Short answer: no. Long answer: hell no. Much like yourself, we're busy people and don't necessary have a lot of time on our hands. Due to the high volume of tells that we receive, it's not guaranteed that we'll remember who you are or what you wanted. If you make sure to send a game mail to Rotmouth we'll make sure to get your request recorded and responded to as soon as possible.
13) Your prices are kind of steep. Can I get some kind of discount?
We don't mind allowing people to acquire loot that for whatever reason they normally wouldn't be able to, but we're definitely not a charity. You could attempt to arrange a deal with Rotmouth, but there's no guarantee that he'll go for it. You could try to sweet talk him, but he derives an unnatural pleasure from crushing the dreams and hopes of the innocent so it's not advised. Depending on demand, our prices may change, but once you've requested a piece of loot and that request has been affirmed, your price will never increase.
14) I really want some Black Temple loot. Is there any way that I can get priority?
The best way to get priority on any given encounter is to request multiple pieces of loot from that encounter. That's the most surefire way to make your request more attractive. On the other hand you can always offer a substantial bribe to Rotmouth. He's as corrupt as he is dead sexy so if the price is right he'll play ball. If you're short on gold you can always try sending naked pictures (females only, no fatties please) of yourself holding a sign that says "I <3 Thrust" or something similar to us and we'll make sure to get a rush delivery on your items.
15) Are there any other ways to keep in touch or track your progress during your Black Temple run?
We'll try our best to respond to any tells that we receive but as we are attempting to finish the clear in one night, we may be preoccupied. We've set up a new channel that you can join in order to keep up to date on our progress. If you're interested type "/join thrustloot" in game and you should be in the chat channel that we use to explain the various boss fights among other things. If you are expected to be in the raid, joining that channel is a good way to get a better idea of what time you may be expected.
16) What happens if I don't get the loot I wanted?
Due to the random nature of loot drops, we can't guarantee that people will always get what they requested. We still have all of our healers waiting for a Memento to drop if that tells you anything about the fickle nature of our loot. Normally, we'll attempt to give priority to the people who were in the previous raid and were unable to get their loot, but this may not always be possible.
